Erinnerungsstätte Notaufnahmelager Marienfelde / WhatsUp-Berlin
The "Erinnerungsstätte Marienfelde" or Marienfelde refugee camp was very important for refugees from the GDR before, during and after the wall had been built and fell in 1989. It meant a gateway to freedom. Nowadays Marienfelde is not only a museum for sightseeing, but a living place that still serves as a center for refugees from all over the world.
Open from Tuesday to Sunday.
